CJP announces new spokespersons, reiterates June 6 protest call over exam paper leak allegations

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Wednesday held a press conference in the national capital, hours after announcing three new spokespersons, and reiterated its call for a nationwide protest on June 6 over alleged irregularities and paper leaks in major competitive examinations, including CBSE, NEET and CUET.
The press conference was addressed by newly-appointed spokespersons Saurav Das, Vijeta Dahiya and Ashutosh Ranka, who outlined plans for the proposed demonstration and urged students and citizens to participate.
The protest call, originally made by CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, has gained further attention after support from climate activist Sonam Wangchuk.
In a social media post on Tuesday, Wangchuk said he would join the protest in Delhi if no corrective action was taken by June 5.
"I will be joining the CJP members in Delhi on June 6 if nothing changes by June 5. Any self-respecting minister should resign if things go so wrong, not to mention the impact on millions of young lives and the future of India," he said.
Ahead of the protest, CJP formally introduced its new communications team. The organisation named investigative journalist Saurav Das as its Chief Spokesperson, while Vijeta Dahiya and Ashutosh Ranka were appointed as spokespersons.
In a statement, the group said Das had spent several years reporting on legal, judicial and social issues and had also been associated with public campaigns, including anti-pollution protests in New Delhi in 2025.
Vijeta Dahiya, a writer, content creator and filmmaker, has previously worked on research and content projects for several digital media platforms. He is also the author of books including ‘Power of Universe’ and ‘To Hell With That Job’.
Ranka, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the London School of Economics, previously worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in London. Since returning to India in 2025, he has been involved in campaigns relating to environmental, educational and youth issues.
Following the announcement, Ranka confirmed his association with the movement and expressed support for its campaign.
