The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the post-result processes for Class 10 and 12 students following the declaration of the 2025 board examination results on May 13. Students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for verification of marks, obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets, and request re-evaluation through the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.

Key dates and fees:

Class 10 students can request photocopies starting May 21, while Class 12 candidates can apply from May 27.

The fee for obtaining scanned copies is ₹700 per subject.

Verification of marks for Class 10 will begin on May 28, and for Class 12 on June 3.

A processing fee of ₹100 per paper will apply for re-evaluation or verification applications.

CBSE has updated the sequence of steps for post-result applications to enhance transparency:

Obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book: Students must first request a scanned copy of their evaluated answer sheet.

Verification of marks: After reviewing the photocopy, students can apply for verification to ensure that all answers have been evaluated and the total marks are correctly calculated.

Re-evaluation of specific answers: If discrepancies are found, students may request a re-evaluation of specific answers.

This revised sequence ensures that students make informed decisions at each step, reducing unnecessary applications and promoting a more efficient process.

Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.
