Canada police arrested Indian national over extortion charge, deport him

Indian national, Prabhjot Singh, 20, who was reportedly arrested by the Canada police over the alleged extortion case was deported to India, as per reports.
On Monday, Surrey Police service, Canada, reportedly released a statement
in which they said Singh was suspected of being involved in extortion-related activity, which led to his arrest. His details were further sent to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
Following the CBSA investigation, he was reportedly deported.
In a statement in March, CBSA reportedly said that it had opened 372 immigration investigations in which 70 removal orders had been issued for various inadmissibility grounds, and 35 removals were enforced till then.
