Bombay threat email targets PM, CMs, railway tracks in Punjab and Haryana

A threatening email has warned about possible bomb blasts on railway tracks in Punjab and Haryana on April 24, 2026. 

As per reports, the email also threatened the lives of the Prime Minister, Union Ministers, and the Chief Ministers of both states, reportedly because of this security agencies have been put on high alert. The threat mainly focuses on the Ambala Delhi railway route and major stations like Ludhiana , Amritsar, Bathinda, and Firozpur. The email also warned people not to send their children to school or travel by train on that day.

Reportedly this is not the first such threat. On April 16, 2026 similar bomb threat emails were sent to school, Air India flights, and government offices in Chandigarh. Police checked all the locations but nothing dangerous was found.

Earlier on April 6, 2026, another email threatened bomb blasts at places like Chandigarh University, the Mayor’s office, and the Secretariat. As per reports, It even mentioned specific times for the attacks. Before that, on April 1, 2026, a threat email was sent to the Delhi Mayor’s office.

Reportedly authorities are continuing their search and asking people to stay alert but not panic.
