BJP leader blasts Air India for poor service, AI responds
BJP National Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill took to his social media handle on X to slam Air India, claiming that if there were an Oscar equivalent for the worst airlines, Air India would “win hands down in every category”.
The spokesperson expressed his dissatisfaction over the airline’s service, mentioning several complaints including 'broken seats', 'worst staff', and "pathetic ‘on-ground’ support staff".
He further highlighted a “give two hoots attitude about customer service”, emphasising that flying with Air India is never a pleasant experience. However, he mentioned that his recent flight experience had “broken all records” in terms of poor service.
The tweet quickly garnered attention, with many sharing on social media their own experiences and opinions about the airline’s service.
Air India responded to Shergill’s tweet, apologising for the inconvenience caused. The airline’s official Twitter account responded, saying, "Dear Mr Shergill, we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Kindly share the travel details with us via DM. We’ll get in touch with you.”
