BJP leader Nazia Elahi Khan visited a lenskart store and applied tilak on employees during a dress code controversy in a viral video that surfaced online. In the video, she was seen questioning the manager of wearing religious symbols, and asked a Hindu employees to come forward and applied tilak on them.

The issue began after a Lenskart dress code guideline went viral online, allegedly restricting Hindu symbols like tilak for the employees. 

Lenskart denied the claims and said its policy allows all religious symbols like tilak, bindi, hijab, and turban. The company also apologized for any confusion. 

Khan also shared a message on social media, saying people should not hide their religious identity at work, she raised slogans inside the store and criticised the management.

The incident has sparked fresh debate on social media about religious freedom and workplace rules in India. Some people supported Khan’s actions, saying everyone should have the right to express their religion freely. Others criticised her, saying such actions inside a workplace are not appropriate.

The controversy continues to grow, with many calling for clear and equal rules for all employees in workplaces.
