Bengaluru Hotel Horror: Man Kills Two Daughters, Attempts Suicide Over Marital Dispute

A 40-year-old man allegedly strangled his 5-year-old and 10-year-old daughters inside a room at the Taj Hotel near Bengaluru airport before attempting suicide, police said. The accused, identified as SG Imran, was found with a slit throat and is currently undergoing treatment.

Two daughters found dead in hotel room

According to police, Imran strangled both his daughters inside the five-star hotel room. The children, residents of Nagawara in north Bengaluru, were aged five and 10.

Hotel security personnel entered the room after hearing Imran screaming. They alerted the authorities and arranged for him to be taken to a hospital. Police said he is out of danger.

Note alleges marital dispute

Police recovered a note from Imran in which he alleged that he was involved in a dispute with his wife and suspected her of having an affair with another person.

He also claimed to have evidence of the alleged relationship, according to police.

DCP North East GK Mithun Kumar said the exact circumstances surrounding the children’s deaths were being verified and that police were investigating the case from all angles.

Police investigating double murder

Personnel from Kempegowda Airport police reached the hotel and began investigating the deaths and the suicide attempt.

Police have confirmed that Imran strangled both children, while further investigation is underway to establish the circumstances and exact motive behind the killings.
