Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, arrested from US: Reports

Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was arrested in the California, USA, according to reports.
The Mumbai Police had said that Anmol was in touch with shooters who killed NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique outside his son’s office on October 12.
The Crime Branch unit of Mumbai police had earlier initiated the extradition process of Anmol Bishnoi, in association with firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence.
Several cases have been filed against him, with two by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and other 18 criminal cases.
A reward of ₹10 lakh was also declared for providing information regarding Anmol.
Sources said the suspects, including Anmol Bishnoi, had been monitoring Siddique for months, conducting reconnaissance of his residence and office. They were paid ₹50,000 each in advance for the attack and the weapons had been delivered to them only days before the attack.
Siddique shared a close association with Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has repeatedly faced threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and associates.
On April 14, two shooters fired five rounds outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Mumbai Police in a charge sheet said the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had links with shooters.
