Amrapura Aravali Express To Get New Stop At Gogameri Station For Six Months

The Railway Board has approved a new stoppage for the Shri Ganganagar-Bandra Terminus Amrapura Aravali Express at Gogameri railway station on an experimental basis for six months.

The decision has been taken to improve connectivity and provide greater convenience to passengers travelling between Rajasthan, Gujarat and Mumbai.

Amrapura Aravali Express To Stop At Gogameri

The approved stoppage applies to Train Nos. 14701 and 14702, the Shri Ganganagar-Bandra Terminus Amrapura Aravali Express.

The local railway division will finalise the timings and introduce the stoppage at the earliest convenient date in accordance with the Railway Board's directive.

The train operates via Ahmedabad, connecting passengers travelling towards Mumbai and Rajasthan.

Ticket Sales To Be Monitored

The Railway Board has directed North Western Railway and Western Railway officials to continuously monitor ticket sales and passenger numbers at Gogameri after the stoppage is introduced.

The data will be used to assess passenger demand before a future review of the arrangement.

Relief For Local Passengers And Pilgrims

The new stoppage is expected to benefit residents of the Gogameri region, regular commuters and devotees travelling to religious destinations in the area.

For passengers heading towards Mumbai and Rajasthan, the additional halt could provide a more convenient rail travel option without requiring them to travel to another station to board the Amrapura Aravali Express.
