Air India flight to London diverted to Jeddah after technical issue

An Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft operating a Bengaluru–London Heathrow service was reportedly diverted to Jeddah on Monday following a suspected technical issue.
As per reports, Flight AI133, which departed from Bengaluru for London Heathrow Airport, made a precautionary diversion after being airborne for over six hours.
The airline's spokesperson reportedly stated that the aircraft landed safely at Jeddah Airport at 7:58 PM, and all passengers and crew members were confirmed safe.
The airline said the aircraft is undergoing detailed technical inspections.
Officials said they were coordinating with authorities at Jeddah to ensure necessary assistance for passengers and crew.
The number of passengers on board could not be immediately ascertained.
According to flight tracking data from Flightradar24, the aircraft had been in the air for more than six hours before diverting.
