An Air India flight from Mumbai to Bhopal reportedly made a priority landing on Sunday after a technical issue was reported mid-air, officials said.

As per reports, flight AI633, carrying 175 people including passengers and crew alerted Air Traffic Control about the snag while en route. In response, Bhopal airport activated emergency protocols, with fire and rescue teams, CISF personnel, and ground staff placed on standby.

The aircraft landed safely at around 3.20 pm, and all those on board were unharmed. Airport and airline teams reportedly provided necessary assistance to the crew after landing.

Following an inspection, the aircraft was declared unfit for further operations until repairs are completed. As a result, the return flight from Bhopal to Mumbai (AI634), which had 178 passengers booked, was reportedly cancelled to allow for detailed checks and maintenance.
