Ahmedabad’s Anisha Keswani tops CS Executive, girls rule all-India top six ranks

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India declared the results of the December examinations for the CS Executive and CS Professional programmes, with Ahmedabad’s Anisha Keswani securing All-India Rank 1 in the CS Executive course. In a remarkable achievement, all six All-India toppers across both programmes this year are girls.

This marks a significant milestone for Ahmedabad, as a student from the city has secured the top national rank in the Executive programme after nearly 13-14 years. Along with the top rank, a total of three students from Ahmedabad featured in the All-India Top 25 in the Executive examination. Lakshmi Ramnath Chauhane secured 15th rank, while Miraben Raghubhai Parmar stood 19th in the country.

In the CS Professional Programme (2022 syllabus), the All-India pass percentage stood at 26.73% for Group 1 and 26.67% for Group 2. Gujarat performed slightly better, recording 28.41% in Group 1 and 27.98% in Group 2. At the Ahmedabad centre, the pass percentage was 27.03% for Group 1 and 30% for Group 2.

In the Executive Programme, the All-India pass percentage was 18.03% for Group 1 and 22.26% for Group 2. Gujarat reported 20.07% in Group 1 and 26.59% in Group 2. The Ahmedabad centre posted 21.56% in Group 1 and an impressive 29.06% in Group 2.

At the Ahmedabad centre, 93 out of 344 candidates cleared Group 1 of the Professional programme, while 93 out of 310 students passed Group 2. In the Executive programme, 133 students cleared Group 1. Compared to the June session, when the Professional Group 1 pass percentage was 21.86% and Group 2 stood at 31.25%, the latest results show a steady performance trend.

Ahmedabad students also made their presence felt in the CS Professional merit list. Three candidates from the city secured places in the All-India Top 25. Kunika Bhaveshbhai Shah secured 7th rank in the country with 410 marks (58.57%).

Hir Oja Parmar achieved 9th rank, while Tavi Chavda secured 18th rank nationally. The latest results underline Ahmedabad’s strong academic performance in company secretary examinations, with students excelling not only in pass percentages but also at the highest national merit levels.
