4 Indian cities feature in 150 top student cities for 2026, only one in top 100

In the best student city rankings for 2026, Seoul from South Korea has ranked No 1, based on factors considering student view, student mix, employer activity, desirability, and affordability.
For India, only four cities made it to the list of 150, with Mumbai being the best-ranked.
Mumbai ranked 98th out of 150 cities. Out of 100 points, Mumbai secured 48.5 in student view, 77 in employer activity, 42.2 in desirability, and 86.3 in affordability. The lowest score for Mumbai was for student mix.
Delhi on 104 scored 17.8 in student view, 19.5 in student mix, 78.4 in employer activity, 34.5 desirability, and 96.5 in affordability.
Bengaluru at 108th place got 56 points in student view, 15.2 student mix, 67.4 in employer activity, 38.6 in desirability, and 84.3 in affordability.
Chennai scored 128, with 18.5 in student view, 20.9 for student mix, 64.1 in employer activity, 38.8 in desirability, and 80.1 in affordability factor.
Delhi scored the best among Indian cities when it came to employer activities and affordability.
