3 bodies found inside parked car in west Delhi, police probe underway

A grim discovery was made on Sunday afternoon when three individuals were found dead inside a car parked close to the Peeragarhi flyover in west Delhi. The shocking scene prompted an immediate police response as authorities began investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to police, a call was received at around 3:50 pm reporting that the occupants of a locked vehicle were unresponsive. When officers forced open the car, they found two men and a woman inside, all deceased, with a strong smell of what was described as a “poisonous substance” detected within the vehicle.
The victims have been identified as Randhir Singh (76), a resident of Baprola village, Shiv Naresh Singh (47), also from Baprola, and Laxmi Devi (40). The car has been confirmed to belong to one of the deceased. Police noted there were no outward signs of struggle, robbery or physical injury on the bodies, and that personal belongings including cash, mobile phones, and jewellery worn by the woman were found undisturbed inside the vehicle.
A soft drink bottle recovered from the car has been sent for forensic testing to determine whether it contained any toxic substances. As per reports, the police contacted Randhir Singh’s family, and a relative reached the spot to identify him and Shiv Naresh, who are not related but acquainted.
Preliminary findings point to a possible suicide, but officials stressed that all possibilities, including foul play, are being explored as part of the ongoing investigation. Forensic teams and the crime branch have collected evidence from the scene, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations.
Police are also reviewing CCTV footage and call records to establish the sequence of events leading up to the deaths and determine any connections between the three victims.
