Several WR trains partially cancelled due to 60-day block at Mumbai Central

Western Railway will implement a 60-day operational block at Mumbai Central from November 23, 2025, following the completion of track renewal work on Platform No. 4. The block is necessary to replace the existing track infrastructure, officials said.
During this period, several long-distance trains will remain partially cancelled between Dadar and Mumbai Central, while others will short-terminate at Dadar. Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek advised passengers to plan their travel in advance.
Trains partially cancelled:
22946 Okha–Mumbai Central Express: Will terminate at Dadar; services between Dadar and Mumbai Central cancelled.
22210 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Mumbai Central Express: Will run only up to Dadar; the final segment to Mumbai Central cancelled.
09086 Indore–Mumbai Central Express: Will terminate at Dadar.
09076 Kathgodam–Mumbai Central Express: Will terminate at Dadar; no service on the Dadar–Mumbai Central stretch.
09186 Kanpur Anwarganj–Mumbai Central Express: Will short-terminate at Dadar, with the final section cancelled throughout the block period.
Railway authorities stated that the block is essential for ensuring safer and improved operations once the upgraded track becomes operational.
