Massive fire damages 20 storage units in Mumbai’s Kurla West, no casualties reported

A major fire reportedly broke out in Mumbai’s Kurla West early Monday, destroying around 20 storage units that housed automobile spare parts. As per reports, no injuries have been reported so far.
The incident is reportedly said to have occurred near a gurdwara in Kapadia Nagar along CST Road, with the Mumbai Fire Brigade receiving the first alert around 2.42 am. Around 2.57 am the fire had intensified, as per the reports.
The flames reportedly spread rapidly through 15-20 adjoining shops located in ground and partly first-floor structures.
To control the blaze, the Mumbai Fire Brigade reportedly deployed 10 jumbo tankers, four fire engines, three fire tankers, a quick response vehicle, and other firefighting equipment.
A divisional fire officer, two assistant divisional fire officers, a senior station officer, and several firefighters were at the scene to manage the operation.
