A fourth woman has come forward with allegations of sexual harassment and coercion at a BPO unit linked to Tata Consultancy Services in Nashik, claiming that senior officials ignored her repeated complaints and asked her to “drop the matter”.

As per reports, the survivor alleged that despite raising concerns multiple times against a colleague identified as Raza Memon, no action was taken. Instead, she claimed that officials attempted to silence her when she escalated the issue.

She alleged that a senior official, identified as HR and operations manager Ashwini Chainani, advised her not to pursue the complaint further.

As per the woman’s statement, the alleged harassment began during her induction training in May 2023, when Memon approached her while she was alone and initiated personal interactions, asking her to keep their communication confidential.

Initially reluctant to report the behaviour as a new employee, she later alleged that the conduct escalated, with the accused following her, initiating unwanted conversations and making her uncomfortable through repeated interactions.

When she reported the matter to her immediate supervisors in June 2023, she was allegedly advised to avoid being alone rather than any action being taken against the accused, she said.

The complainant further alleged that after she raised objections, rumours about her personal life were circulated, and she was subjected to inappropriate remarks even after her marriage in 2025.

She also claimed workplace retaliation, alleging that her workload was deliberately increased by manipulating system settings to route calls at a higher frequency.

Despite escalating the matter to senior management, including Chainani, she alleged that no corrective steps were taken and that the accused were “consistently shielded”.

The statement also referred to another incident in March 2026 involving a different colleague, who allegedly made inappropriate remarks.

The survivor has now reportedly filed a formal complaint against the accused individuals, including Memon, another employee identified as Shahrukh, and Chainani.

Multiple cases of alleged harassment and coercive practices at the Nashik BPO unit have surfaced in recent weeks, with investigations currently underway by authorities.
