The case has been filed under Section 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, along with Sections 184 and 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, relating to rash and negligent driving and allied offences.
Police have not disclosed the identity of the driver. Further investigation is underway.
