Congress MP Prashant Padole escapes unhurt after truck hits car near Nagpur

Congress MP Prashant Padole narrowly escaped injury after his car was hit by a truck near Nagpur while on his way to the airport.

He was travelling from Bhandara to Nagpur airport in a private vehicle when the incident took place. A truck allegedly rammed into his car near Nagpur, causing significant damage to the vehicle. However, the MP did not suffer any injuries.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Padole expressed concern over the incident and questioned road safety. He stated that if a Member of Parliament is not safe on the roads, it raises serious concerns about the safety of the common public.

He also tagged Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, urging strict action and accountability in the matter.

Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
