Complaint filed against woman who confronted Maharashtra minister in protest march

After the police filed a complaint against the organisers of the protest march in Mumbai, a complaint has now been filed against the woman who confronted Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan over the traffic jam caused by the protest march against the Women Reservation Bill in Worli.
Zen Sadvarte, the daughter of Gunaratna Sadavarte - a BJP-affiliated lawyer, criticised the woman’s alleged abusive behaviour towards the police and officials. On Thursday, she lodged the complaint against the woman over a viral video where the woman angrily questioned the minister over the disruption caused to commuters.
Sadavarte reportedly slammed the woman’s behaviour for her abusive language against the cops and her poor choice of words for raising the issue. While talking to media, she reportedly showed the complaint, confirming it was filed at the Worli Police Station and also urged cops to take action against the woman as soon as possible. She also questioned the woman’s intent for disrespecting Mahajan and hardworking police officers and public functionaries.
A BJP-led protest march towards the Worli Dome was organised on Tuesday against the non-passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha. The protest witnessed a large turnout, resulting in heavy congestion on the road. Following this, a woman resident of the area who was stuck in the traffic angrily confronted the minister who was leading the protest, and demanded that the protest be shifted to an open ground instead of blocking roads. She also raised her voice and argued with police personnel who attempted to remove her from the spot. This entire incident was captured on camera and went viral on social media.
