Air India flight returns to Mumbai shortly after take-off due to suspected technical issue

An Air India flight operating from Mumbai to Bengaluru was forced to return shortly after take-off on April 9 due to a suspected technical issue.
According to reports, flight AI2812 was brought back to Mumbai as a precautionary step, following standard safety procedures after a possible snag was detected mid-air.
The airline’s spokesperson reportedly said the decision to return was taken in line with established operational protocols to ensure passenger safety.
The aircraft landed safely in Mumbai and a thorough technical inspection in accordance with the airline’s safety norms was conducted.
Air India further mentioned that necessary arrangements were made to reduce inconvenience caused to passengers.
