It’s Christmas! And what could be better to cuddle up in your cozy blankets with a soothing hot chocolate, fairy lights and magical Christmas movies to watch? If the ‘Home Alone’ series has become too repetitive, here are the five Christmas movies you can indulge into. 

The Polar Express (2004)

Relive your childhood with the family-friendly animated movie, ‘The Polar Express’. The movie stars Tom Hanks in multiple roles, including narrator, train conductor, and Santa Claus. This Christmas fantasy adventure film directed by Robert Zemeckis is all about a young boy boarding a magical train destined for the North Pole.

Last Christmas (2019)

The Emilia Clarke-starrer ‘Last Christmas’ is a must-watch for ‘fictional love girlies’. Director Paul Feig created a contemporary romantic movie that may sting a little in the end, but it’s worth the journey nonetheless. 

Princess Switch (and its sequels) 

The ‘Princess Switch’ film series consists of American Christmas romantic comedies, including three feature films. Starring Vanessa Hudgens in double roles of a baker and a princess. The two doppelganger characters of the movie exchange their lives ahead of Christmas and embark on a bitter-sweet adventure.

Merry Christmas (2023)

The Hindi film featuring Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi, and Tinnu Anand is a mind-boggling murder mystery, with a holiday mood. The movie is all about a fateful Christmas Eve when two strangers meet and connect.

However, the movie takes a dark, eerie turn, opening the gates to the murky past and a revenge plot.

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish (2019)

American teen romcom, with a Disney-tinted vibe, is all you can expect from this movie. The movie observes the same plot of the classic Disney movie Cinderella but with a contemporary and Christmas-y touch.
