Taste Atlas, a food traveller platform which promotes local food around the world has ranked South Indian Filter Coffee the second-best in the world.

The filter coffee, known for its unique brewing process  goes well with the South Indian staple food like Idli, Dosa, and Vada, has been now ranked the second best cup of joe around the globe. The coffee which ranked first is cafe Cubano.

The coffee, made with mixing hot milk, sugar, and with the decoction obtained by the brewing of the grinded coffee beans like a washed arabica or peaberry coffee beans, is served uniquely with a small steel tumblr and dabarah saucer (small steel bowl) with froth on top, mostly strong in flavour.

To have an energising day, you can kickstart your day by having a filter coffee in the morning.

Along with the filter coffee, Taste atlas has ranked Cafe Cubano from Cuba as first, Espresso Freddo from Greece at third, Freddo cappuccino (also from Greece) at fourth and Cappuccino from Turin, Italy, at the fifth position.
