After a muted, well-guarded wedding in Udaipur, actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha shared the dreamy moments today.

For the wedding, Parineeti wore a pearl white ensemble by Manish Malhotra with the words ‘Raghav’ visible to be written on the veil, while Raghav was styled in the same colour palette.

While the actor’s cousin, actor Priyanka Chopra, had opted for a sindoori red lehenga for her own wedding, Parineeti joined the pastel club for her nuptials.

Parineeti’s wedding too, as with many other B-town celeb weddings, had the ‘minimalist’ theme across the entire event. Be it their trousseau or the decor.

Starting from actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli’s wedding in 2017, the pastel theme has never left the ‘trend town’.

Parineeti’s exquisite jewellery with the polki set, studded with pastel green stones with a string of diamonds in between the layers, and pink chooda with gold kaleeras drew parallels with actor Kiara Advani’s wedding jewellery, which had an emerald necklace, ombre pink choodas, and crystal kaleeras.

Advani too, in her wedding, ditched red and opted for a pastel pink-hued bridal outfit.

Another B-town bride who ditched the traditional red was Alia Bhatt, who opted for an ivory organza saree, a heavy choker necklace, and matha patti for her wedding with actor Ranbir Kapoor.

The minimalist pastel trend also extended to another actor-cricketer pair: Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul.

Even fashion designer Natasha Dalal and actor Varun Dhawan were seen in shimmery ivory outfits at their wedding.

Sticking to the basics was also actor Richa Chadha, who married actor Ali Fazal last year, wore a white sharara set to her wedding.

The B-town brides set another trend of minimal makeup looks. The varmalas, made with white and pink roses, also matched the minimalist theme of the wedding. Moreover, Pareeniti and Alia’s varmalas shared a lot in common with gypsy flowers embedded in them.
