London sets new Guinness record with 440-metre tiramisù, surpassing 2019 milestone

A new culinary world record was set in the UK capital as a 440-metre-long tiramisù was created at Chelsea Old Town Hall, surpassing the previous benchmark and earning recognition from Guinness World Records.
As per a social media post by Pretty Little London, the record attempt was organised by Complitaly TV, drawing large crowds and turning the venue into a celebration of Italian food, culture and music. Visitors witnessed the preparation of the dessert and were later able to sample portions of the record-breaking tiramisù.
The new record significantly exceeds the earlier mark of 273.5 metres, which was set in 2019 in Milan by Galbani Santa Lucia with the participation of students from a cooking school led by Stefano Callegaro, winner of MasterChef Italia season four, as per Guinness World Records.
The post said the event also had a charitable dimension, with funds raised going towards the Esharelife Foundation.
The event combined a record-setting attempt with a cultural gathering, marking a notable moment for the Italian community in London while setting a new global benchmark for the popular dessert.
