Sufi night

Artists Maulik Purohit, Abhiraj Barot and Parth Vyas, along with their team, are set to perform at Sufi Night organised by Niravadhik Ane Sahitya Parivar at Kalasmruti.

Ramakdi Production presents Raam Duhai — a captivating drama that weaves together a tale of sacrifice, culture, and love, brought to life with the soul-stirring power of live folk music.

Gujarati play: Chandu Chakdole Chadyo

The protagonist in the comedy play, Chandu, is a man of words, stuck in his own promise. A lovable village boy, Pavlo, steals from Chandu and gets looted in a robbery. What happens when these two opposite characters become best friends? One promise changes Chandu's whole life and places him on a merry-go-round. How will Chandu balance his friendship and family responsibilities? Situations unfold in the most hilarious manner.

Film screening: Borderlands

Borderlands, a documentary directed by Samarth Mahajan, a Mumbai-based filmmaker, is an intimate exploration of how everyday lives intertwine with personal and political borders in the Indian subcontinent. Through conversations and observations, the characters reveal their efforts to find meaning in a world beyond their control. Divided families meet, love blossoms across borders, traffickers get caught – in this slice of life documentary.

Karnavati Kala Kendra presents a day anchoring masterclass with a city-based actor, emcee and influencer, Khushi Bhatt, at Kalasmruti.

Film screening: The Unreserved

The Unreserved is an intimate inquiry into the lives of passengers who use the Unreserved Compartment, the cheapest way to travel across India on the Indian Railways system. The film portrays the passengers' aspirations, efforts, and opinions through conversations and personal stories. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the Director, Samarth Mahajan.
