Jaipur confectioner unveils India’s costliest sweet ahead of Diwali priced at ₹1.11 lakh per kilo

With Diwali around the corner, one of Jaipur’s sweet brands has introduced a lavish new creation that’s turning heads – the ‘Swarn Prasadam’, priced at a staggering ₹1.11 lakh per kilogram.
The opulent delicacy is infused with Swarna Bhasma edible gold ash along with pine nuts, saffron, and layers of gold and silver leaf.
Anjali Jain, owner of Tyohaar Sweets that launched the delicacy, said, “This year, we’ve launched India’s most expensive, healthy, and luxurious sweet, Swaran Prasadam. It’s made from pine nuts, pure ghee, sugar, and edible 24-carat gold ash, which is valued in Ayurveda for its immunity-boosting and wellness properties.”
“We wanted to bring creativity and nostalgia to our sweets,” Jain said.
These exuberant prices of sweets have left the internet in frenzy and in shock as to who would buy ₹1.11 lakh sweet per kg.
