The post Diwali weekend is filled with events including comedy shows, play, storytelling, and more. 

Comedy: Sharon Verma

Sharon Verma, the Latent Show fame is in Ahmedabad with her show ‘Weak Independent Woman’. It is an hour of stand-up about navigating life with a little experience and a lot of opinions. Born in Bihar, figuring things out in Mumbai, Sharon is both edgy and scared. She was on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent.

Poetry & storytelling: Nidhi Narwal

‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge Tour’ by Nidhi Narwal is a heart-touching poetry and storytelling event that celebrates friendship, love, and emotions.  Experience Nidhi’s storytelling live in Ahmedabad as she brings her famous spoken word poetry to life.

Gujarati play: Urfe Aalo

Urfe Aalo is a full-length anti-caste play in Gujarati that examines the persistence of caste violence and discrimination in urban Gujarat. 

Set against the backdrop of the bastis (working-class neighborhoods), the play brings the everyday lives of Dalit families to the stage—families whose language, humor, sorrows, and resilience rarely find representation in Gujarati theatre.

Comedy: Zakir Khan

Step into the world of laughter, love, and nostalgia with Zakir Khan’s brand-new show, “Papa Yaar”. Through anecdotes packed with wit, emotion, and his signature poetic flair, Zakir brings to life the most relatable yet unsaid aspects of every Indian son`s relationship with his father.

Drumantra with Rujul : Diwali Drum Circle’25

The Drum Circle, headed by Rujul Vora is in Ahmedabad for a post Diwali celebration with an engaging and energetic drumcircle experience.

Note: 

Dress-Code : Traditional + Sports' shoes must.

Each participant is required to have a ticket (+5).

Entry gates close 30 mins prior to scheduled time of the drum circle.

Entry is prohibited once the gates close.

Must bring : A bottle of water and napkin.

Music: Dharohar By Aavartan School of Music
