Celery-shaped handbag priced at ₹5 lakh sparks online debate: To buy or eat?
Moschino, known for its unique handbag collections, has launched a new ‘Celery bag’ that has left netizens in awe and shock. Priced at ₹4,98,000, the bag has sparked a debate among people on whether to buy it or eat it.
According to the website, this is a “Maxi celery-shaped clutch featuring a digital print with a three-dimensional effect. The leaves and branches, crafted from nappa leather in two shades of green, are meticulously hand-finished to create depth, harmony, and realism. The distinctive shape of the clutch embodies Moschino's signature irreverent spirit.”
The bag has also gone viral on social media, where netizens have made sarcastic comments, with one saying, “Actually cute... and in a few years, veggies might become more expensive than bags like this.”
One user commented, “Imagine taking the bag to the supermarket and leaving it near the celery counter,” while another jokingly asked, “When is the tomato-shaped bag coming out to keep the coins?”
In a quirky response, someone commented, “Dhaniya toh free mein milta hai na?” (Coriander is given for free, right?)
