Hollywood star Brad Pitt has turned the spotlight on Gujarat’s traditional craftsmanship by wearing a Tangaliya shirt on the sets of his upcoming F1 movie.
Tangaliya is a 700-year-old weaving tradition from Surendranagar, known for its intricate hand-twisted dots and detailed patterns.
As photos from the set emerged, Brad Pitt wearing a Tangaliya shirt drew attention, showing how this traditional Gujarati art has reached global fashion.
Brad Pitt’s Formula 1 movie, released worldwide in theatres on June 25, 2025, followed by a North America release on June 27 which is directed by Joseph Kosinski and co-produced by Lewis Hamilton.
