US denies entry to Pakistani diplomat KK Ahsan Wagan, deports him from LA

The United States denied entry to Pakistan’s top diplomat, KK Ahsan Wagan, and deported him from Los Angeles airport despite him holding a valid visa and all necessary travel documents, according to reports.
Wagan, who serves as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, was reportedly traveling to Los Angeles for a vacation when he was stopped by US immigration authorities. Despite holding legal travel documentation, he was denied entry and subsequently deported back.
The US authorities did not specify the reason behind the deportation of the diplomat. However, according to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the deportation is believed to have emerged from an immigration objection.
Following the incident, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry immediately instructed its Consulate in Los Angeles to look into the matter and seek clarification from US authorities regarding Wagan’s deportation.
