Tourist submarine sinks in Egypt's Red Sea, six presumed dead

In a tragic incident, a tourist submarine run by Sindbad Submarines sank in the Red Sea off the coast of Hurghada in Egypt.
Six passengers have reportedly been presumed dead in the incident, and nine are believed to be injured, with four in critical condition. Reports also suggested that 29 passengers were taken to safety after the mishap.
As per reports, all 45 passengers on the submarine were Russians, and the vessel was run by Sindbad Submarines.
The company promises to offer a ‘unique and exciting underwater excursion’ as per its Instagram profile.
Hurghada is Egypt’s tourist hub located in the West of the country, a coastal town and the capital city of the Red Sea governorate of Egypt.
