The US has been experiencing severe tornadoes since Friday, with at least 32 reported deaths so far. Rescue operations are underway as emergency responders work to assess the full extent of the destruction, as per reports.

The most affected areas are Missouri and Texas, where entire neighborhoods have reportedly been flattened, and thousands of residents have been left without power. Authorities fear the death toll may rise as search efforts continue.

In Kansas City, more than 50 vehicles were involved in a collision on the highway due to extreme weather conditions, leading to multiple injuries and roadblocks, suggested the reports.

The severe weather is caused by a powerful storm system moving across the country, expected to impact more than 100 million people. Flights have been delayed, and major disruptions have been reported across several states.

According to reports, the American Storm Prediction Center has warned that these fast-moving storms pose a significant threat, with more tornadoes likely in the coming days.

The National Weather Service has also stated that flash floods triggered by the storms could be deadly, urging residents to evacuate from flood-prone areas immediately.

The Meteorological Department has issued warnings to residents in affected areas, urging them to seek shelter in the sturdiest structures available until the storm passes. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and disaster relief teams have been deployed to assist those in need.
