Russia temporarily suspends Moscow flights amid Ukrainian drone strikes

Russia has halted air traffic at all four major airports serving Moscow following a wave of Ukrainian drone attacks, according to a statement reportedly issued by Rosaviatsia, the country’s civil aviation authority, as per reports
As per reports from Russian state media, the country’s air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 76 Ukrainian drones within a span of two hours late Monday. The strikes come shortly after what was described as Russia’s largest drone assault targeting Ukraine in recent weeks.
On the other side, Ukraine’s air force stated that Russian forces had launched 479 self-destructing drones overnight, with Ukrainian defences successfully shooting down or electronically disrupting 460 of them. The announcement was made via an official social media update.
Meanwhile, Russian forces reportedly claimed that they are advancing toward Ukraine’s southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region, an area that has been heavily bombarded but has avoided ground fighting.
