New York religious leader arrested for allegedly molesting multiple 10-year-old girls inside mosque

A religious leader in New York was reportedly arrested for allegedly groping and molesting multiple young girls in a mosque. He was arrested by the Queens Child Abuse Squad on charges of sexual abuse, forcible touching, and unlawfully dealing with child for mutiple alleged disturbing incidents that occurred over a week in April, as per reports.
According to the New York Post, Tajul Islam, 55, a religious leader at Masjid Bilal Queens Islamic Center in Jamaica, allegedly approached a 10-year-old girl inside the storefront mosque where he touched her private parts. He again committed the same act by allegedly approaching and groping another 10 year-old-girl, as per reports.
Within four hours of that incident, the police arrested him. He was produced in court, then held in custody by the police, reports stated.
The New York Police is now asking other possible victims or individuals with knowledge of the incidents to come forward by calling the sex crimes helpline.
