Five major fragments of the OceanGate Expeditions' Titanic exploration submersible were found on the seabed, indicating a 'catastrophic implosion' of the vessel. Though there have been no reports of the human remains, all five passengers on board are presumed dead. The submersible had lost contact on its descent to the Titanic's wreck on June 18.
According to the tweet by OceanGate, the company CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nagreolet lost their lives in the incident. The debris was found by an unnamed Canadian robot.

A Canadian military aircraft today detected underwater 'banging sounds' at 30-minute intervals and again four hours later in the search area of the missing submersible, reported international media houses. The noises were detected by sonar buoys. The latest update gives hope that the stranded passengers may be found alive.

A five-person submersible vessel called ‘Titan’ went missing in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean on June 18 during the expedition to see the Titanic vessel that sank in 1912, 12,500 feet undersea wreckage.
Titan had a maximum of 96 hours of oxygen on board but the vessel is now left with 40-41 hours of oxygen supply expected to run out by 4 p.m. IST on June 22, as stated by the US Coast Guard.

OceanGate Expeditions, the operator of the expedition to the Titanic offers eight-day tourist missions to see the Titanic wreckage, costs $250,000 per person. On June 19, the company confirmed that the submarine lost in the Atlantic off Canada with crew members on board.
A rescue search operation led by the Boston Coast Guard is underway in search of the submersible vessel in an area spanning 19,683 sq km. Reportedly the team lost contact with it about an hour and 45 minutes after the expedition began, authorities said.
Titan most likely had a distinctive choice for its steering mechanism and used a traditional control system with a gaming controller from 2010 that costs only $29.99 which was employed to navigate the submarine.
The submarine is carrying five individuals, including a Titanic expert, a wealthy explorer, a billionaire Pakistani businessman and his son, and the CEO of the submarine company OceanGate, who have gone missing.
