MAGA activist burns Quran calling USA Christian nation, sparks outrage

A woman name Valentina Gomez, affiliated with Republican Party, a MAGA activist and a staunch Trump supporter, sparked online outrage for posting a video where she burnt Quran, the holy book of Islam.

In the video, Gomez was seen holding a flamethrower-like object, and before setting the Quran on fire, she said, “Your daughters will be raped and your sons will be beheaded, unless we stop Islam once and for all.”

“We're done turning the other cheek. Remember, David didn't pray for Goliath. He killed them,” she said further.

Setting the holy book on fire, she the called for all the Muslims to leave the USA, saying, “America is a Christian nation, so those terrorist Muslims can f*** off to any of the 57 Muslim nations. There is only one true God, and that is the God of Israel.”

Before this, Gomez has also breached the stage at another Muslim event in Texas, where she said, “I will never let Sharia Law take over Texas, this is a Christian nation.”

The video garnered a small amount of support, but many criticised her for her act. 

“You would get a prison sentence for doing this in the UK,” said one user on X under her video.

“Please don't bring your holy wars over here, we are free to practice religion if we follow the law,” said another.

A user said that burning the holy book is “not free speech, it's pure hate. If America allows this in Congress, it betrays own Constitution”.
