A US court has sentenced 15 years in jail to Jaasen Sangha, also dubbed as ‘Ketamine Queen’ over the allegation of murdering ‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry.

Perry was reportedly found dead in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home in October 2023.

During the investigation, it was found that he died due to the overdose of Ketamine which he was using as part of therapy for depression.

Indian origin Sangha, 42, a drug dealer, allegedly supplied Ketamine to Perry's acquaintance, Erik Fleming, who then supplied it to live-in assistant of Perry, Kenneth Iwamasa, who allegedly injected three shots of Ketamine which led to his death, as per the reports.

During the raid at Sangha’s Los Angeles home, authorities reportedly found dozens of ketamine vials which she was allegedly supplying since 2019. Other than this, thousands of pills including methamphetamine, cocaine and, xanax were also found, the report states.

Reportedly, she has been in custody since August, 2019, and was found guilty under five charges.

US authorities have said that Sangha is one of five people - including medical doctors and the actor's assistant who supplied ketamine to Perry, exploiting his drug addiction for profit, and leading to his overdose death.

The two assistants of Perry,  Iwamasa and Fleming, are scheduled to be sentenced in upcoming months whereas the doctor Mark Chavez had pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to 8 months of home detention and three months supervised release. The fifth one, Plasencia, was already sentenced to 30 months in federal prison in December 2025, as per the reports.
