US President Donald Trump has reportedly said that he may skip the wedding of his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, amid escalating tensions over Iran, calling that he would “get killed” if he attended. However, Trump added that he would also be killed by the fake news if he chose not to attend the wedding.

While speaking to reporters during an interaction at the Oval Office, Donald Trump was asked whether he would attend his son’s wedding. Responding to the question, Trump suggested that he might skip the event due to the ongoing tensions involving Iran and the intense media scrutiny surrounding the situation, saying, “He'd like me to go... This is not good timing for me.”

“I have a thing called IRAN... If I do attend, I get killed. If I don't attend, I get killed. By the fake news, of course," Trump reportedly said.

Trump mentioned that his attendance was uncertain due to international developments, security concerns surrounding presidential travel and also possible criticism from the media regardless of whether he attends the wedding.

The reports suggest that Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, 48 is set to marry a socialite and model Bettina Andreson this weekend at a private ceremony in the Bahamas. The upcoming ceremony will mark the second marriage of Trump Jr. Earlier, he was married to Vanessa Trump who has five children and later got divorced in 2018, as per reports.
