‘Honor of taking Cuba’ says Trump after takeover on Venezuela and war with Iran

During a press briefing, US President Donald Trump said that he is ready to take control of Cuba by saying that he would have the‘Honor of taking Cuba’. The remarks came at a time when the US already took over Venezuela by capturing Maduro and an ongoing war with Iran.
President Trump's remarks come at a time when reportedly Cuba went into the darkness after the country’s electric grid suffered a total collapse On Monday after weeks of crippling oil halt imposed by the US.
Cuba is located on a Caribbean island with 9.6 million people who are governed by the Communist leaders. Reportedly, Cuba President Miguel Diaz-Canel said that the country hasn’t received a major fuel shipment in three months due to a halt from Washington.
During the press briefing, Trump hinted at showing his future plans to take control of Cuba by saying it will be a big honor for him, “I do believe I’ll have the honor of taking Cuba. That would be good. That’s a big honor.”
“He can free Cuba for which he can do anything, I can free it or take it, I think I can do anything I want with it,” Trump added.
Trump’s remarks came at a time when his administration is adopting a strategy of economic pressure to change the decades-long unilateral rule in Cuba. This happened at a time when Venezuela had already taken after arresting President Nicolás Maduro on January 3 and fighting a war with Iran in the Middle East.
