Hamas has reportedly submitted its response to an Israeli proposal for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, according to reports.

As per reports, the response, which was delivered to mediators, includes feedback from Hamas and other Palestinian factions following more than two weeks of indirect negotiations held in Doha, Qatar.

A source familiar with the ongoing discussions in Doha reportedly indicated that the response outlines proposed amendments related to the entry of humanitarian aid, maps detailing areas for Israeli military withdrawal, and assurances toward securing a permanent end to the conflict.

Negotiators from both sides have been engaged in indirect discussions in Qatar, aiming to secure a truce that would include the release of Israeli hostages. However, talks have continued without significant progress, with each side accusing the other of refusing to compromise on core demands.

Israel has reportedly maintained that dismantling Hamas’ military and administrative infrastructure remains a non-negotiable condition.

Meanwhile, Hamas is demanding clear guarantees for a lasting ceasefire, complete withdrawal of Israeli forces, and unimpeded humanitarian aid access into Gaza.
