Flight from Houston to New York catches fire during take off

A flight from Houston to New York caught fire during takeoff at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Sunday.
Reportedly, the plane had to be evacuated after flames erupted from one of its wings while it was taking off.
The Houston Fire Department (HFD) released a statement saying, “HFD airport rescue firefighters are assisting at the airport after a departing plane reported an issue on the runway. HFD assisted in deboarding the plane. No injuries have been reported at this time.”
There were 104 passengers and five crew members on board, according to reports.
Earlier on Friday, a small aircraft had crashed in Philadelphia, in the nearby state of Pennsylvania, setting several homes on fire.
It was a medical flight, according to local news reports, carrying six people.
US media reported that multiple homes were on fire in a neighborhood near Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue.
Notably also earlier this week one more crash had taken place in US where an American Airlines passenger jet collided with a military helicopter while landing at Ronald Reagan national airport near Washington DC,on Wednesday night.
The plane was carrying 67 passengers and the crash had no survivors.The plane was carrying 60 passengers and four members of the crew while the helicopter had three service members.
