Elon Musk’s father faces multiple allegations of sexually abusing his own children and stepchildren

Errol Musk, the 79-year-old father of tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, is facing accusations that he sexually abused five of his children and stepchildren over a period dating back to the early 1990s, according to a New York Times investigation published Tuesday.
The report suggests that these allegations may help explain why Elon Musk, who has spoken only sparingly about his father, has at times intervened after relatives reached out to him for help.
Errol Musk has forcefully denied the claims, calling them false and absolute rubbish in responses shared with the US media outlets.
Drawing on court filings, private letters, emails, and interviews with family members and social workers, the Times detailed accusations beginning as early as 1993, when a four-year-old stepdaughter allegedly told relatives that Errol had touched her inappropriately at the family home. The investigation also noted that Errol, who has at least nine biological and stepchildren and has been married three times, continues to exert significant influence over parts of the Musk family.
