Tim Cook, who has been the head of the tech giant Apple since founder Steve Jobs stepped down for health reasons, not before he died in October 2011. Recently , Apple named John Ternus as Tim Cook’s replacement.

US President Donald Trump, reacted to this news, giving an unhinged tribute to Cook, put emphasis on the early days of their respected relationship, and also threw in a story of when Cook approached President Trump for help.

He recalled by saying that the outgoing Apple CEO Tim Cook had once called him during his first term to “kiss my a**”. Despite the blunt remark, Trump went on to praise Cook as “an incredible guy” and credited his leadership, while also invoking co-founder Steve Jobs’s legacy.

“During my five years as President, Tim would call me, but never too much, and I would help him where I could. Years later, after 3 or 4 BIG HELPS,  I started to say to people, anyone who would listen, that this guy is an amazing manager and leader. He makes these calls to me, I help him out and he gets the job done, QUICKLY, without a dime being given to those very expensive (millions of dollars!) consultants around town who sometimes get it done, and sometimes don’t.” President Trump quoted.

Towards the end of this post he quoted, “Tim Cook had an AMAZING career, almost incomparable, and will go on and continue to do great work for Apple, and whatever else he chooses to work on. Quite simply, Tim Cook is an incredible guy!’.
