A private charter aircraft crashed in Boyacá, Colombia, killing renowned Colombian singer Yeison Jiménez. The pilot and four other crew members on board also lost their lives in the tragic accident.

According to reports, the charter plane had taken off from the Juan José Rondón Airport. Within minutes of departure, the aircraft failed to gain the required altitude and crashed into a field near the runway. Videos from the crash site showed the wreckage engulfed in flames.
