The US government has reportedly launched an inquiry following reports of two classified videos purportedly depicting a massive triangular object flying over a military installation in Colorado.

The US Department of War acknowledged that its team is actively reviewing the claims, which were reportedly first brought to light by the New York Post. Responding to public interest, Acting Press Secretary Joel Valdez indicated that any authentic material uncovered during the investigation could eventually be released to the public through PURSUE, the department's dedicated portal for handling unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) information.

Details of the Unverified Sightings

While the claims have generated significant intrigue, details regarding the nature of the footage remain tied to anonymous sources and internal military accounts: 

• Mobile Footage: The two videos were allegedly recorded on consecutive nights in 2023 by an active service member using a personal mobile phone.

• Massive Dimensions: Eyewitnesses described the object as a dark, triangular craft measuring roughly 100 feet across as it traversed the sky above nearby mountain peaks.

• Anomalous Movement: The craft reportedly demonstrated unusual visual traits, at one point appearing to blend seamlessly into or vanish against the cloud cover.

• Official Custody: Sources claim the recordings are currently held by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in Colorado, complete with specific internal file reference numbers.

• Unverified Claims: Because the original video files remain strictly classified and unreleased, independent verification of the craft's size, speed, or trajectory is currently impossible.

Government Response and the PURSUE Portal

Valdez reportedly confirmed via social media that officials are examining the published report, pointing to PURSUE as the primary avenue for any future official disclosures. However, military spokespersons have been careful not to validate the underlying claims.

The department’s acknowledgement confirms only that an investigation into the report is taking place. It does not confirm that the alleged videos have been located within AFOSI archives, nor does it authenticate the footage as genuine.
