China is expanding secret nuclear facilities in Sinchuan, according to reports. Experts say the developments are raising global security concerts because the sites are located relatively closer to India.

According to report , China's nuclear weapons stockpile has grown to around 600 warheads. This makes China the world’s third-largest nuclear power after Russia and the United States.

Satellite pictures reportedly show construction and upgrades at military facilities in the Zitong and Pingtong valleys. These locations are about 800 kilometers from India’s northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.

China is building new storage bunkers, tunnels, and support structures at these sites, according to defense analysts. Experts believe these facilities could be used to store nuclear weapons safely and protect them from attacks.

The report also warns that China’s nuclear arsenal could grow to more than 1000 warheads by the year 2030 if the expansion continues at the current speed.

China has not officially confirmed details about these specific sites yet.
