Utah Governor Spencer Cox announced that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused in the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, will face formal charges on Tuesday. Cox confirmed that Robinson has not confessed or provided information to investigators.

“He is refusing to cooperate, but those close to him have been helpful, and that matters,” Cox said in an interview with ABC’s This Week.

While Robinson remains silent, his roommate, described by the governor as a male transitioning to female has been speaking with authorities and offering assistance. Cox described the roommate as extremely cooperative and a key source of information for the investigation.
