Attempt on Bashar al-Assad’s life by poisoning him in Moscow: Reports

The former president of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, who is currently in Moscow, was reportedly poisoned on Sunday, as per reports.

The health of the 59-year-old former president of Syria deteriorated significantly on Sunday. Assad was having difficulty breathing and was also coughing a lot. Following that, a doctor was immediately arranged for his apartment.

During the examination, the doctor found that Assad had poison in his body, conforming an attempt to poison the former president of Syria.

On Monday, his health reported to have improved and he is now out of danger, suggested the reports.

Russian investigative agencies have initiated a probe to find the culprit behind the conspiracy to kill Assad.

After the coup in Syria, Assad had to lose his presidency and he fled to Russia, fearing his life.

After this, the wife of the former Syrian President, Asma al-Assad, has reportedly asked for a divorce from him. Now, there has been an attempt to poison Assad in the Russian capital.
