AI-generated photo? Princess Kate apologises for confusion

Hours after a row of controversies spiralling over the picture of Catherine with her children on social media, the Princess of Wales issued a statement this evening citing a ‘confusion’.
Several foreign news agencies dropped the latest photo shared by Princess of Wales Catherin and her three children, Prince Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, as it seemed like an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated photo.
“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” the royal couple’s official social media handle posted on their Instagram story.
“I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day,” wrote Kate in her story. The message was indicated as a quote of “C,” which came directly from Catherine.
From this morning, the royals are once again buzzing up the gossip circles today as netizens point out their suspicion of the image.
“Ummmmm, this photo looks doctored... Catherine’s right hand around Louis is entirely blurry, but the left hand around Charlotte, at the same distance to the camera, is not, and neither is Louis’ jumper around the hand blurry,” wrote an Instagram user under the image.
“Louis’ middle finger must be awfully long to be entirely wrapped around the next finger without being able to see the fingernail. It’s also blurry. I’m a keen photographer, and those are not true elements of a photo as taken,” they added.
How to identify an AI-generated image?
Pay attention to the body parts; zoom in on each part, particularly fingers and smiles.
Typical AI errors are fingers; they are never correct. There might be something odd with the fingers of Prince Louis, as indicated by users on the internet.

Check the skin- it might seem unnaturally smooth perfect or artificial. Here, the fabric of the stockings seems awfully smooth.

The background seems to blur every time. And some of the corners are always blurred.
